It is truly amazing to see the evolution of toys and game consoles through the years. Some of these are greatly missed and also forgotten.


Yellow Dump Truck
This yellow dump truck, was a popular toy for boys back in the 1950s - 1970s. It taught constructive ideas.
Robot Toys
From the 1950s - 1990s, these robot type figures made great toys to play with family and friends.

Stuffed animals
Stuffed toys was a great way to show love and show one that they are never forgotten. Very popular from the 1960s-1990s.



Slinky Dog
This Slinky dog was a fun toy for children of the 50s-80s. As you hold the rope and walk with Slinky he would follow you; very unbalanced toy but hilarious.
Rag Doll Andy
This Rag doll was and still is a very scary looking doll. Maybe this doll was the inspiration for the clown Pennywise. Rag dolls were popular from 1960s-1990s.


Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head
1950s - 1990s, Children used to love the potato heads, as you can pull all their boy arts off and have fun putting them all back again.
Baby Alive
Baby Alive has been a part of children's hearts since the 1950s - 1990s as popular and then in the 2000s as well.



Play-Doh
Play-doh has been around since the 1950s - present 2024. Great for making different shapes and things.
Spinning Top
This spinning top was a favorite to all children from the generation of the 1950s - 1990s.


Plastic telephone
Another popular toy was this smiling face phone with wheels; this phone was made out of silicone and very well liked by tons of children, 1950s-1990s.
Magic Eraser
1950s-1990s, this Magic eraser was fun to draw or just scribble on and if you didn't like what you did, you just turn the knobs and it all erases away.



Tic-Tac-Toe console
The game of Tic-Tac-Toe was loads of fun and was popular amongst children of the 1970s. Competitions galore!
Child's washing machine
1970s had some really cool inventions for children; like this washing machine, so they can learn how to wash their own clothes.


Jacks & Ball
From the 50s - 90s, the game of Jacks & Ball was popular. Throwing the ball up in the air a bit so that it gives one bounce, while picking up the jacks the same time with the same hand as the ball. What fun this game was!
Mouse Trap
1950s-1990s, this game called Mouse Trap, was a game to its name. Trying to trap a mouse was fun but difficult too.


Tammy and her Family
1960s This was a craft game made of paper dolls. They can stand up, sit and lay down once constructed correctly.


Little Wooden People
From the 50s - 90s, this little play game of wooden people was fun in which to create a village and understand the meaning of family ethics.
Atomic Energy Lab
In the early 1950s, Atomic Energy Lab was used to create chemicals that actually worked. It was soon banned as it was very dangerous.



Barbie Doll
1950s-1990s, playing with barbie dolls for girls was a real deal. Children learned how to dress them, wash their hair and bathe and feed them.
Weebles
1970s was also popular for the weebles. They had no arms and legs, but they can sit in cars and travel.


Stretch Armstrong
1970s Stretch Armstrong Doll, was fun for boys as they can stretch the arms and legs as far as they wanted to and it would slowly go back into form.
Nerf-ball and shooter gun
In the 1970s, Nerf-ball was a lot of fun! Especially in the summer time. Children used to fill the gun with plastic caps and see how hard they can hit the ball or it to move its location.



Cars with Tracks
1950s-1990s, for boys it was race time. The full enjoyment of seeing cars speed off the various tracks as high as mountain tops, was so exhilarating for them.
Hoola Hoops
1960s and presently, the hoola hoop was used for fun and competition, plus, it was also great exercise.


Talking Doll
1960s children were introduced to a talking doll, which was very chatty, and also a companion per say.
Suzie Homemaker
In the 1960s, Suzie Homemaker was great for girls to get a feel of what it was like to get their hair done, try different hairdos and make up and jewelry.



Child's scooter bikes
1960s-1970s these bikes were fantastic for having fun and going places with friends and family. Such an easy push.
Footsie
1960s-1970s, this game was really loads of fun. Put your foot in the ring and try and spin the ball under your other foot, similar to how one would play skipping rope.


Twister
1960s-1990s, Twister was a fun uniting game, where your entire body would get twisted trying to place your hands on the right colors that was spun and stopped on.
Silly Sand
In the 1960s*70s, Silly sand was good to make various funny looking shapes and the colors were beautiful, as the sand did vary in colors. It was a fun game maker.



Scrabble
1960s-present, the game scrabble is a fun and educational game that hasn't stopped being played to this very day.
Easy-Bake Oven
1960s-1970s, this kitchen set was very popular back in de day. All sorts of desserts were made and baked in this little oven. Easy as pie.


Six Million Dollar Man
1970s was a very popular time for the selling of the six million dollar man dolls.
Cymbal Monkey
In the 1960s-70s, This toy started off being a bit fun, but eventually became annoying due to the continues cymbals banging together, often caused headaches when played with too much.



Clackers
1960s-80s present the clackers; these were fun but also extremely dangerous as they have known to explode.
Wagon
1960s-1980s wagon rides were totally fun! Friends taking turns pulling each other in the wagon.


Pop n Suck 'em
1970s -80s were classic years of the two robots knocking each other's head up in the air. Hilarious and a fun challenge.
Bat Mobile
1960s-70s Batmobile was so popular from the cartoon Batman and Robin; boys had tons of fun with their cars and other characters.
